MAGIX FunPix Maker is a classic, legacy photo editing software designed to quickly create humorous, caricature-style image distortions. It is heavily focused on caricature creation, funny face warping, and digital image liquid-stretching tools. Core Features of MAGIX FunPix Maker

Liquify and Warp Controls: Simulates a liquid texture on photos so users can stretch, shrink, bulge, or twist specific areas.

Caricature Tools: Features brushes that isolate and expand facial features like the nose, eyes, or mouth to create comic portraits.

Real-time Previews: Renders warping details as they are drawn, making it easier to adjust distortion sensitivity.

One-Click Controls: Includes fundamental color balances and exposure adjustments to fix images before editing. Step-by-Step Guide to Using MAGIX FunPix Maker Step 1: Import Your Core Photo

Open MAGIX FunPix Maker and click the Project/Open folder icon. Browse your local files and select a clear portrait image.

Tip: Front-facing photos with uniform lighting yield the best warping results. Step 2: Use One-Click Image Optimization Find the prominent 1Click button on the main toolbar. Click the drop-down arrow next to it.

Choose Auto exposure, Auto white balance, or Auto colour to let the program automatically improve base image quality. Step 3: Select and Apply Distortion Tools Navigate to the tool panel on the left side of the screen.

Select the Grow/Bulge tool to inflate features (ideal for making massive comic eyes or oversized smiles).

Select the Shrink tool to compress parts of the photo (useful for shrinking ears or noses).

Select the Smudge/Twirl tool to pull or twist the image freely, dragging your mouse pointer to manually stretch pixels. Step 4: Refine Brush Sliders

Use the Size and Intensity sliders on the top action bar to adjust your active brush.

Set a larger brush size for wide distortions, or a smaller size for fine facial wrinkles and specific tweaks.

Note: If you over-distort an area, use the built-in Reset/Revert Brush over the warped zone to return pixels to their original position. Step 5: Isolate and Swap Objects (Optional) Select the Isolate tool from the toolbar.

Choose either the polygon lasso or magnetic lasso to trace around an object or person’s head.

Complete the selection loop to copy the item. You can now reposition it onto a different background canvas inside the program. Step 6: Export Your Final Fun Image Click the File menu and choose Save As or Export.

Choose your preferred export format, such as JPEG or PNG, optimized for web sharing. Set your target destination folder and click save.
